we have a new

schedule for at least December.
Stephanie is out of school and Corys work hours... well days changed so I dont have Bradley until possibly Thursday evening or until Friday for sure then of course through the weekend.

Martha and Mike are back into their trailor... its not the best place but, until something better is found and they can meet the owners requirements for renting it is much better than the streets.

Baby Halo Alaiah- Juliet is full term according to the dr and can come at any time and he says he wont let her go over her due date which is dec 26th.  Last week at the sonogram she is 5 pounds something... and appears to have a head slap full of hair... MJ had a head full too so would not suprise me.

I am working on cards If you dont get one its not because I was not thinking of you It will be because I dont have your address... I am working on getting those as well. I really DO NOT want to put the tree up this year... for several reasons... ONE is Space... TWO is TIME... THREE is I AM LAZY! ...FOUR is I am really not in the mood... FIVE is... JUST BECAUSE!

Martha Stephanie And I made MANY little trees several years back and I have several left in my closet I can put one of those up and be perfectly happy...BUT will my whiney little boys be happy with that?
we shall see.

I bought a pack of Q tips yesterday ... they had a free bottle of sample type lotion... It is VASELINE sheer Infusion botanical blend... I like it... it smells good and my hands like it too.

I am thinking I have not made a REAL HOMEMADE lasagna in YEARS and I just might make that for Christmas Dinner.   It just sounds good to me... and some homemade rolls... UMMM Yeah DRooling already just thinking about it:)

Yesterday ummm no Sunday evening I made a BRINE... never had made one before but made one for a pork loin... let it sit until last night then cooked it... Michael Liked it... I am ok with it... and there was 10 really good sized slices left that went to work with him... so several people may have sammiches or just meat to snack on today :) I hope they like it.  it was easy to make and I did really like the juicyness of the meat... just SOMETHING in the mix did not exactly set will with my taste buds.

well, apparently the pipes are either frozen or perhaps the pump... as we have no water... Sigh... DID I MENTION IT IS COLD here in the SOUTH! ... Breaking record cold temps quite a bit here lately and I am NOT liking it at all... SIGH. guess I need to Get of the puter and call the hubby and let him know...

Have a fantabulous Tuesday Ya'll!

YES--lasagna is perfect for Christmas dinner! Homemade rolls are an excellent side. And several little trees sitting around would be adorable :-)

My sister in law always makes a pot of spagetti on Christmas, in the crock pot. That way it's ready for anytime and any visitors. I think a pan of lasagna would be good too.
I am not putting a tree up this year. I didn't decorate at all actually. I put a sparkly Believe sign on my front door and that's about it. Not in the mood this year, that and if weather is OK, we are going up to my daughters for Christmas this year. We have not been able to be with family at all in like 10 yrs. It's always been just me and David, as we worked til late Christmas eve, and to tired to go or do anything Christmas day.
You are soon going to have a sweet baby there! Can't wait to see precious pics of this lil one. Do you pronounce her name like a Halo above one's head?
Keep the faith Laura, everything will be OK. :)
God Bless~

My artificial tree has shrunk down to 4 ft and I can't manage the 10 minutes it will take to put one piece into the other. I have the time...no motivation. I was kind of hoping my son would just jump in and do it....noooooooo.

I hate this cold weather. I hate that you have no water.

I love that Halo is due any day and I'm so excited for all of you!!! I also love the lasagna idea :) and the trees around idea.

I think you should go with your gut, Mom.

All mine!! This is me, too. I had these a long time ago, and so--we enjoy our little 12" ceramic tree until we go to our son's for Christmas week. (YES!! Our son and DIL have US over for Christmas with them and the grandchildren for a week! We have them for Thanksgiving. Maybe you'll luck out and this will happen for you one day!) And we also have lasagna there for Christmas dinner and it's great, and easy to do, even ahead of time. People that aren't cooking really can't complain too much about what they get to eat, can they?! (Sorry--couldn't resist that tease!) It's been a stressful year for you, and I know you're feeeling the pressure. I think it would do you some good to stand up and not be the doormat sometimes. (Well--I'm sure you're NOT, I am/was.) But I'm growing out of it, year by year. It took a long time, but by the time you're 55--you sort of get tired of being exppected of, and walked on. I'm 61 now--and I'm really not interested in being used up more. Only my husband --who is my partner and thank God, my one and only--and I get to decide together what we'll do or not. If we can't both agree--I concede to him, because to me, he is the head of our household. Some people think that's outdated---but we are a Christian family, and someone eventually has to break the tie if there is one!

Sorry--I shouldn't be ranting on YOUR blog!!

Global warming, Peach. That's what your cold weather is all about.

Lasagna for Christmas sounds wonderful! We're having sauerkraut soup and pierogies. And homemade eggnog.

Frozen pipes would not be good.. We had that one time and it was a bugger to get unfrozen and running again.
Glad you liked my post today. My sister lives in Columbia, South Carolina.. She is freezing cold too. She is happy she has the hat to keep her head warm. Her blog is called Carolina Trekker. but she doesn't post anything. Her e-mail address is: jlynnt6@netscape.net I'm sure she would be thrilled to hear from you... Tell her to start posting on her blog...I did it for her for awhile.. She is the one that got me started blogging...She says she doesn't have anything to say...
